Can you fight off the tryptophan coma and stay awake long enough to watch your football team battle on Turkey Day? Unless you are eating turkey for breakfast, the chances are you will be up and ready for the Thanksgiving action.

The Titans are the NFL's American Football Conference (AFC) leaders with 10 wins and just one loss so far this season. The team has been running the ball well with their big man, LenDale White, leading the charge with 11 touchdowns this season. The throwing game has been rather impressive as well, with quarterback Kerry Collins completing 58.4 percent of his passes to key receivers Bo Scaife, Justin Gage, Brandon Jones, and Chris Johnson. This season, that quartet has pulled in a combined 135 passes for a total of 1,482 yards.

On the other side of the ball are the Detroit Lions, who have been getting spanked up and down the field. They have the worst record in the NFL and are yet to win a game this season. The only close game they have recorded this season came in week six when they lost 10-12 to the Minnesota Vikings. Week 12 was much of the same for the Lions team, who got served by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 20-38. The Lions 2330 receiving yards are 238 more then the Titans, but their running game is lacking with only 917 total rushing yards compared to the Titans' 1372. The chances are that this Lions team will be handed its 12 consecutive loss of the season.

Here are the teams fighting over more then a drumstick on Thanksgiving. Those seeking the "turducken" of victory are:

Thursday Nov. 27

Tennessee Titans host Detroit Lions, 12:30 p.m. ET, CBS

Seattle Seahawks host Dallas Cowboys, 4:15 p.m. ET, FOX

Arizona Cardinals host Philadelphia Eagles, 8:15 p.m. ET, NFL

For the warriors of the NFL, Thanksgiving is just another day at the office . . . but you won't be, so tune in to a game or two.
